A link with earlier days is provided by this shot of erstwhile North Western Alexander Y-type Leyland Leopard 314, by this time Ribble 1071, turning into the Yelloway coach station at Oldham Mumps bound for Bradford. It's quite likely that the other Ribble bus seen heading away from the camera is also on the X12.
