Seen in 1972 when works were progressing on the Karlsplatz subway station is an L3 or L4 hauling two type I trailers, the rear of which is 1735. It is on the E2 service which ran from Gersthof to Praterstern, running on an outer ring that ran, as shown here, through Karlsplatz.
