The Colchester tram fleet comprised eighteen cars, of which sixteen were supplied by ERTCW in 1904 and a further two in 1906 by their successors United Electric Car. It is not possible to identify this car but I suspect it is one of the latter two, partly due to the photograph number but also as one of the axlebox covers has UEC in the casting (the other says ERTCW!) and these castings would not have existed when the earlier batch was built.
