Whilst working the 828 First Olympian 34038 (P538 HMP) failed to properly negotiate the bend on the hill at Greenfield station. It would then appear that it was unable, for whatever reason, to reverse as would normally happen. The end result was the use of the First Volvo recovery lorry 90012 (F579 ENB) to pull it back up the hill. This obviously took some time to organise. The lorry here is ready to pull 34038 back.
