This Leyland Leopard coach was destined to serve Mayne well. On 10th November 1986 it was returning to garage having worked the 828 service to Saddleworth School. This same coach can also be seen in the "Whit Friday" collection nearly twenty years later less than half a mile from this shot, by which time it had received a cherished registration.
