This AEC Reliance carried three completely different colour schemes in its five years in the fleet. It was only the second vehicle to be repainted in MTT livery, in Apr-1987, and originally carried the standard version of the scheme but in Apr-1988 was modified as shown here with diagonal stripes above the rear wheel.
It is on Avenue de Clichy, named after Merthyr Tydfil's twin town Clichy-la-Garenne, an industrial town in the suburbs of Paris, with a strong Celtic tradition. The towns were twinned on 28-Feb-1981.
