This selection shows more of the punch tickets used by Pontypridd. On the left is a standard issue 2d ticket featuring an advert on the back for Nunbetta flour. Nunbetta Products were based in Newport with just the power station between them and the Corporation bus garage. Flour seems to have been a popular product to advertise in Pontypridd.
The 3d Company ticket is one issued by Rhondda on journeys entirely in the PUDC area and would have been supplied by Pontypridd.
The Exchange Ticket is a bit of a mystery, not least because two of the geographical points can be considered the same (Station Square and Pontypridd). I would welcome more information on this ticket, which carries no printer identification.
Four journey tickets seem to have been a Pontypridd speciality but were originally confined to the trolleybuses. The 1/- ticket seen here would have been used from 5th July 1953 to March 1955, after which they were increased to 1/2. By this time they were available on motorbuses as well and in fact this one is specific to the Porth service.
The 5d return ticket I suspect to be a Child Return, although I would expect it to say so in full. This is an odd ticket and I am unable to explain the large circle in the centre.
