1508 is in that interim stage of having received NBC livery but still carrying its original Western Welsh number. In fact it was originally going to be numbered 508 and some of the later bus-seated ones of the batch were delivered with those planned numbers. However, with the takeover of Rhondda these numbers were used for Rhondda Atlanteans to avoid renumbering and this batch became 1510-1520.
