Subject: Creamline HTG 557K
Chassis: Leyland Leopard PSU3B/4R
Body: Plaxton Elite Express II C53F
Location: Cardiff, Westgate Street
Date: 23–Feb-1985

By now HTG 557K is carrying a later livery style as applied to most, if not all, the Plaxton-bodied Leopard coaches. Comparing with other photos will see subtle changes to the front grille over the years with the addition of two louvres between the headlights and later the Leyland Leopard badges.

The building on the right was a redevelopment of the site that formed the city terminal loop of the last Cardiff trolleybus routes to Ely, the buses actually stopping in Havelock Street which ran parallel to this part of Westgate Street.
