878 MNY was of the classic Duple Super Vega design, one which has aged rather gracefully. The chassis was the Bedford SB8 which had the Leyland O350 engine. New in 1961 it had left the fleet by 1970.

Despite the destination display I don't believe this is anywhere near Aberystwyth but possibly in Southsea.
