Subject: Creamline OTT 65 and OTT 57 Chassis: Bristol LS5G Body: ECW B45F Location: Tonmawr depot Date: 17–Mar-1973
OTT 57 and OTT 65 were new as Southern National 1703 and 1711 respectively in 1954. When converted to one-man operation in 1959 the seating was reduced to 41. In 1969 they became part of the Western National fleet, retaining their fleet numbers as the two companies shared a common numbering series.
Both joined the Creamline fleet towards the end of 1971 with the seating later restored to B45F. They are recorded as sold to Martin’s, Weaverham (dealer) in December 1972 but can be still seen to be in Tonmawr the following March, but clearly awaiting disposal. As both were later sold to Bryn Davies Coaches of Morriston it is likely they never made the trip to Cheshire.
