2745 AC had been new as Stratford Blue 44 and was allocated Midland Red number 2044 when the fleet was absorbed at the beginning of 1971. It was sold later that year to PMT still carrying Stratford Blue livery and number. With PMT it was repainted and became 405. It joined Creamline at the beginning of 1973 and is seen here in its first livery.
