Subject: Creamline YRU 159K Chassis: Bedford YRQ Body: Plaxton Panorama Elite II C41F Location: Barry Island Date: 13-Jun-1982
New in the smart grey and red livery of Shmarock & Rambler, this bus suffered the plain white National coach livery as it became part of the National Travel South West (Shamrock & Rambler) fleet in which it was numbered 417 and named “Mersey”, being re-numbered 407 in 1975. It joined the Creamline fleet in 1978 and was sold in 1984.
Some of the few remaining (by then) steam locos in Dai Woodham’s legendary scrapyard can be seen in the background.
