This bus was new as London Transport DM1022 and like all the Fleetlines bought by that operator, was sold when quite young into an enthusiastic secondhand market. Originally the body layout was H44/27D. This example was sold in 1983 to Smith’s of Norwich before moving to Creamline in 1985, by which time it had been rebuilt as a single-door vehicle. It survived until the demise of Creamline after which it went to the Morris Bros operation in Swansea, quickly receiving Capitol Coaches livery.
