OTT 49 was new as Southern National 1695 in 1953. It was converted to a B41+19F standee layout in 1958 and then to conventional B41F when converted to one-man operation in 1965. In 1969 it became part of the Western National fleet, retaining its fleet number as the two companies shared a common numbering series.

It was converted back to a 45-seater by Creamline to whom it was sold in 1971. By 1973 it had moved to Silcox.

Behind it it South Wales 616 (NWN 459F), a Bristol RELL6G with ECW B53F body new in 1968 as United Welsh 216.
