This photograph manages to combine my interest in Creamline with buses in my native Saddleworth. 192 JVK started with Newcastle Corporation and had been with Creamline before joining the Shennan fleet. I believe the bus to the right of it is the other Newcastle Atlantean operated by Creamline - 208 JVK.

RDB 823 was North Western's 823 and had a Leyland O600 engine. 895 was from the larger Alexander-bodied batch of Lolines in the North Western fleet. This bus was used for a farewell tour of North Western routes in the Oldham area on the last day of existence of SELNEC (Cheshire), the division of SELNEC which had taken over the former North Western operations in its area. Photographs of that tour can be found by searching for its registration.
