This view shows the former extension of the Clayton service up The Avenue, with the terminus. What can be seen on this photograph is that the turning circle here also involved cutting into the pavement on the opposite side.

AEC 139 is on the motorbus service which replaced this extension of the Clayton trolleybus service in 1970, a service that reached Clayton directly along Clayton Lane instead of going via Pasture Lane.
