Subject: Oldham C. T. 13?
Maker: Electric Railway and Tramway Carriage Works, Preston
Seating: 36
Bogies: Brill 27G
Motors: 2 x DK 25A 25 hp
Controller: Dick, Kerr DE1 Form A
Location: Preston, Dick, Kerr works
Date new: 1901

The identity of this vehicle is uncertain. It was filed under Bolton but that fleet's 13 was an open-top double-decker whereas this is a clerestory-roof single-decker.

Oldham 13 is a match and the date is about right for the photograph number, but there is little photographic material to compare with to help confirm and nothing in this view to associate it with any particular operator. Oldham 13 was converted to double-deck as early as 1903!
