Austerlands chimney is a local landmark and was connected to Austerlands Mill on the other side of Huddersfield Road by a flue under the carriageway. Seen on 25th June 2005 it had clearly not been in use for many years. It completely dwarfs 30216, a Northern Counties-bodied Leyland Olympian that was originally Bristol Omnibus 9601. Sadly the electronic display is only showing a route number.
