5343 was the PD2 of this batch in most original condition at this time, as it had been overhauled at Stockport who were more sympathetic to the original interior than Oldham were. It is seen on Oldham Road, Grasscroft on 22nd December 1973 just after the route was renumbered and this is, I believe, the only photo I have of a bus in Oldham livery working as a 180. The distant shot was a result of a camera fault which did not allow me a fast shutter speed, so a closer shot would have been blurred. The bus has black fleet numbers which do not show up very clearly on the pommard background.
