One of my earliest efforts with a 35mm camera, when I mistakenly thought that with a reasonable camera I could get a photograph whatever the conditions. The light is failing early on 12th February 1970 as 3568 heads towards Lydgate from the Farrar's Arms. This bus, along with many later examples from the batch of 100, was withdrawn relatively young only later that year as they became due for overhaul. They were by no means the oldest buses in the fleet but the rapid implementation of one-man operation made them obsolete. The white mark on the side of the bus is fogging due to my poor early attempts at processing - I did try to correct it in Photoshop but the cure was worse than the fault, so I've left it alone!
