Manchester bought six Leyland Titan PD2/34s which were to be the only ones of that designation to be built. 3520 was the last and was new with a fully-automatic transmission, later to converted to electro-pneumatic semi-automatic. It survived long enough to receive orange livery and is even more fortunate in still being with us today. The Lees Heginbotham shop on the right used to be the tramway office and waiting room and the clock on its facade is a relic of that time.
