211 was one of six (209-214) Fleetlines new to Oldham depot in 1966, becoming the normal fare on the 10 and 14. Although I used these routes to get to school at this time, the times I travelled meant that I didn’t often ride on North Western’s buses. I do recall these Fleetlines with forced ventilation and hardly any opening windows being quite warm in summer.

211 is pulling out of Copsterhill Road onto Hollins Road. Until the previous year the North Western depot had been only a short distance from here.
