Leaving the Upper Boat roundabout on a new spur road which joins the original road a short distance further on, 158 is working the Caerphilly to Pontypridd service. In the days of municipal operation it used to be an hourly service but had become every fifteen minutes by this time. The loading seems to imply the municipal operators judged the demand better!
