The C9 was a service from Bargoed to Caerphilly via Cefn Hengoed which ran every twenty minutes during the day on Mondays to Saturdays only. One of the three journeys only operated from Bargoed to Ystrad Mynach. The service was jointly operated by Caerphilly Busways and Harris Coaches, the section between Ystrad Mynach and Caerphilly being a more recent addition.
162 joins the circulatory system at the Piccadilly junction. On the extreme left can be seen a Harris Coaches' vehicle, the operator being confirmed by the reflection of the same vehicle in the windows to the right of 162 where the "Shuttle" fleet name favoured by Harris can be seen.
