North Western 256 was a Duple-bodied Leyland Leopard and was not very old at the time of this photograph as it was taken when there wasn't a separate service to Filey and that town was instead served by the X25 to Scarborough. It is in the process of setting down in Filey bus station.

I bought this slide on eBay and both the vendor and myself think it came from Photobus, but even then the copyright would be uncertain. I would like to correctly acknowledge it so any information on its origin would be welcome.

From a slide in the David Beilby collection, photographer unknown.
