This photographed had me puzzled about its location for a while until I realised it was off the normal route. North Western 938 is approaching Delph Cross Roads on a trip to Scarborough on 22nd July 1967. 938 was a Willowbrook-bodied AEC Reliance.

It was following the A62 direct to Huddersfield instead of using the normal route through Uppermill, presumably as the journey was duplicated and this vehicle could therefore take the more direct route. It certainly seems well laden.
