On the last trip made by a Guy Wulfrunian in West Riding ownership, 487 is making it a joint farewell to both the Wulfrunian and the trolleybus. I have actually been caught by the photographer in the act of speaking to the person on the platform. To this day I still don't understand why I didn't take my own photograph of this unusual visitor to the last day of Bradford trolleybuses.

487 had been 995 until the previous number, but before that it had been County 99, hence the route number display, joining the West Riding fleet in 1963.

It was bought almost immediately afterwards by the West Riding Wulfrunian Preservation Society as indicated by the board behind the windscreen. It was restored to West Riding green and cream quite quickly.
