HW 3107 fn

Operator: Bristol demonstrator
Fleet No:
Registration No: HW 3107
Chassis: Bristol B
Body: BBW B32D
Year: 1928

Additional information:

The window between the side of the cab and the front bulkhead was curved outwards, the idea being that the vehicle could be used for one man operation. The seat behind the drivers cab faced to the rear meaning that when someone was paying the driver the money would be passing right past a passenger's right ear!

It was sold to Aberdare in December 1928 and became their No 33. Withdrawn in 1937 it ran for an unknown owner until 1943 when it passed to Sheldon (showman), Gloucester, who ran it for just over a year.
