Subject: Bradford C.T. chassis and lower deck body frame Chassis: AEC 661T Body: English Electric Location: Preston, Dick, Kerr works Date: 1934
Demonstration of ease of repair of metal-framed body. This shows the structural repairs completed at 1115. Obviously it helps if you're at the factory where identical vehicles are being built when it comes to obtaining spare frame sections. Nonetheless, the repair was quite quick and was no doubt intended to convince reluctant operators that repair of damaged metal-framed bodies was quite easy.
