Glasgow's first trolleybuses were to have had a custom body designed by Glasgow but for expediency the body design was virtually identical to the London Q1 design. Newcastle also had similar vehicles. Carried "Trolleybus" transfers of identical design (but different colours) to the LT design - not perpetuated on later deliveries.
On Saltmarket with the rear of bus A66 (FYS 166) which was an AEC Regent III 9612E with a Crossley H30/26R body. The emergency door window is not the standard Crossley style.
