These galleries cover the second era of bus services worked from Oldham garage, the period when it was under direct PTE control - either SELNEC or GMPTE. The services here are ones where Oldham garage started operation during the PTE era. If the services had previously been worked by Oldham Corporation they are dealt with in the earlier group of galleries.

Several of the services in this section had previously been operated by North Western and the full history of them is given in the North Western section of this gallery (and also in most cases in the Saddleworth Buses gallery). This gallery only includes the period after the services were worked from Oldham garage.

The story of each service is continued until it stopped running in a form that had any recognisable link with the original service. Thus several of these galleries continue into the PTE and post-deregulation eras and in some cases the services are still running today.
