This view angle illustrates well the extra length of the Bristol FL. The blinds give a convenient ‘lazy’ display and the “Ynysybwl” on the via blind seems to be specially produced for the purpose.

The advert on the side is for coach-air holidays in conjunction with British Island Airways. I believe this link would have been through Blackpool, whence passengers would be whisked across to the Isle of Man on a Handley Page Herald. The coach services to Blackpool called at the airport.
