NS1469 was numerically the first of just seventeen new short Nationals bought by National Welsh (to be followed by three National 2s). Several secondhand examples followed.

This unusual view (but in very typical Valleys weather) shows NS1469 passing round Christ Church (Church in Wales) in Ynysybwl, just off-camera to the right.
