2 is about to turn right into Clive Street on a school run to Old Ynysybwl. Since the photo was taken more vegetation has taken hold on the hillside on the other side of the valley and of course Lady Windsor colliery in the valley bottom has disappeared. On the right the top garage is still there but the buildings below have been replaced by modern housing.
