RD8066 would seem to be about to depart the Crosville garage in Liverpool where it will have spent the night. The 871 service actually started here before heading into the centre of the city and a couple of passengers can be seen on board.
This coach was new as RC1066 and had been renumbered RC8066 in 1975 and then demoted to dual-purpose in 1977 as RD8066 as seen here. It was withdrawn in 1979, one of the last of the batch to go.
