27 is stopped outside the Post Office on a working to Rhydyfelin. The significant bonnet protrusion resulting from the need to accommodate the long Gardner 6LW engine is obvious in this view. For reasons of standardisation all Guy Arab IIs had this bonnet length, even when the 5LW engine was fitted, and Ministry dispensation was required as the vehicle exceeded the maximum permitted length at the time.
