This was one of the first vehicles ordered by Rhymney Valley, in fact ordered by the shadow council before formation of the Council proper.

It is turning into Treforest having come from Caerphilly. Above is the Taff-Ely depot where this bus would be based for a few months in 1982-83, helping out in a time of vehicle shortage.
