Subject: Rhondda 396 (396 WTG) Chassis: Bedford VAL14 Body: Duple Vega Major C47F Location: Cheltenham, St. Margaret's Coach Station Date: Nov-1964
396 stands under a rather nice Black and White Motorways sign in the Cheltenham coach station that was their home.
It is not yet six months old and in the original cream and red livery.
Rhondda didn't have any services to Cheltenham, which was a hub for a national network of coach services, but may well have been called on to support Red & White to provide extra capacity on their service from Treherbert.
From a negative in the David Beilby collection from the RHG Simpson archive
