The hillside above is covered with glorious purple heather, whilst Stott’s MX07 BCY passes the terminus of the 348 service at Carrbrook. A First Streetlite on that service can be seen at the left.

Behind the hedge on the left is Duck Island, the duck pond which is a habitat for a variety of waterfowl. It used to be the mill lodge for the Buckton Vale Print Works, once the biggest Calico Print Works in the country.
