703 at the terminating loop in the city. After dropping passengers off here it would do a U-turn round the central island and immediately turn right back into Sunbridge Road. The two sets of wires were for the Allerton and Duckworth Lane routes, which were kept separate in this area. The crossovers allowed trolleybuses to switch from one route to another and would mainly have been used by trolleybuses for the Allerton route coming to and from Duckworth Lane depot.
