Oldham Central station used to be here but there is very little evidence of that now - it closed on 18th April 1966, a long time before the train service ceased. In addition, to the right, there was Clegg Street station which closed as early as 1959 when the last train to Ashton ran. Until 1955 it had also been used by trains serving the line to Greenfield and Delph.
