On the road into the main Western Welsh workshops at Ely 2374 appears to be newly-overhauled and has even acquired a reflective number plate. I believe this bus returned to Porth until it was withdrawn in 1975 as U5259, following which it was sold to the National Coal Board.

Note that moulding has been added for the white band.
