By this stage running on trade plate 332 BO, this vehicle had been originally registered MJV 37G. New in September 1968 it came to Taff-Ely Transport from the Borough Council ancillary fleet at the formation of the "arms-length" company at deregulation in October 1986. It would later receive a yellow livery. It was a later model AEC Mercury fitted with the Ergomatic cab.
