I haven't got any literature relating to this tour but thanks to the splendid photographs of Doug Robinson I can present a very interesting selection of photos covering what was a very comprehensive and well-planned tour of the system as it stood at the time. I believe the itinerary was a shown below and would welcome any corrections or additional information:
Thornbury Depot then Leeds Road, turn right into Killinghall Lane.
Reverse at Laisterdyke, Greenhill Lane (immediately after turning off Leeds Road), then turn left into Leeds Road again, to Thornbury roundabout going right round roundabout to Bradford Moor terminus.
Along Leeds Old Road (remaining section wired inward only) turning left into Killinghall Lane, cross Leeds Road again along Sticker Lane (former 34 route now just used for depot journeys) to Dudley Hill then down Wakefield Road to Hall Ings.
From Hall Ings return up Wakefield Road to Holme Wood, back to Dudley Hill then to Tong Cemetery.
From Tong Cemetery to City Centre (Hall Ings) and then return to Dudley Hill (not sure why this bit was done, except maybe to get the longest possible continuous run, from Hall Ings to Saltaire).
From Dudley Hill along Sticker Lane, Killinghall Road to Bolton Junction then continuing to Five Lane Ends, Thackley and Saltaire.
Reverse into Dove Street but then carry on to Saltaire roundabout and into Saltaire depot.
From Saltaire to Thackley (maybe doing a full 360 degree turn on the circle there, Five Lane Ends doing a 270 degree turn to go to Greengates.
From Greengates to City Centre via 42 route, from Bolton Road up to Peel Park and return to City Centre.
Bolton Road to Bolton Junction then via Killinghall Road to Leeds Road then left to Thornbury roundabout.
Turn at Thornbury roundabout then run through to Thornton, full length of the 7 route.
From Thornton back to Four Lane Ends then left up to Allerton.
Allerton (and here I'm surmising) down to Four Lane Ends going right round the set of junctions here to go up Squire Lane to Duckworth Lane and then presumably 8 route into City and then back to Thornbury.
