The other end of the maximum traction bogie for Darwen. The concept of the maximum traction bogie was to put the majority of the weight on the motored axle. To do this the bogie pivot isn't central but towards the motor axle as can be seen here. The brake cylinder can just about be seen behind the rather deep frame at the near end.
