This 1920 maximum traction bogie was dusted off for Darwen's two streamline cars which I suspect were the last new trams with this type of bogie. It differ considerably from the contemporary bogies being made for Blackpool, not just because it was 4'-0" gauge. The primary suspension is coil spring instead of leaf spring and the motor is attached at the outer end of the bogie.
