47 is seen in the bus station, not a favoured haunt of Taff-Ely buses as only the Caerphilly service went there, it was mainly used for parking.

47 is bound for Gilfach Goch, a service introduced at the tail end of Taff-Ely operation in a final attempt to make the business viable. After the National Welsh takeover it became 247 in that fleet for a short while before moving to Cambus to join the other CityPacers.
