Bradford 585 had originally been Notts & Derby 305 and would seem to be in an advanced state of preparation for entry into service in Bradford. It would only operate in Bradford for three years. Unlike the later examples, none of this 1937 batch operated in Bradford in Notts & Derby livery which was similar to Bradford's but featured a darker blue.
