MD1392 crosses what was still the railway at this time but is now the new A4233. The short-lived Pontygwaith Platform, closed as early as 1914, was located just by this bridge on the right.

This stretch of road appears to have no name on maps but the address of the Soar Chapel to the left is shown as Margaret Street, despite Margaret Street otherwise starting in the background and only going to the right.
